I always enjoyed peer review because I loved seeing what my classmates had written and thought about the certain texts. Though I loved looking through my peers work, I always felt bad or awkward about commenting changes or confusing parts of their paper. But in English 110 I really felt like I had the freedom to comment how I felt about the paper, and had guidance of what to say in these comments to be helpful but not too critical. Peer review not only, hopefully, helped my classmate think about new ideas they could work on or specific changes to improve the flow of their paper, but it helped me give ideas of where I can improve my paper. I loved being able to comment on our peers papers for homework, and then come into class with those already looked over, so we could discuss the broader topics of the paper instead of having to waste class time reading through everyones paper. I also liked getting to know the peers in my group, and by the third paper we knew how the other person wrote. I liked the relationship and bond we shared, and we could honestly help each other improve their papers.
