- Today I met with Olivia to discuss my Scheuer, Ungar, CORE handbook paper. I had much more trouble and specific questions for Olivia on this paper than the last one about Dweck vs Lukinoff and Haidt. We started off by me reading my paper aloud to Olivia, to allow her to listen to the whole thing once through. Then we worked our way through each specific comment I had and other concerns Olivia had. We worked through most of the issues, and left a couple for me to work on by myself. This meeting really helped someone else listen to my work, and make sure it made sense to an outside listener. She also helped me tweak many of the sentence issues, and introduction to quotes. These meetings are always super helpful to get a sense of where I can fix my paper.
